Welcome to my portfolio! My name is Aiden Chen-Malloy, and I work at the intersection of research and data analysis — combining 2 years of user research experience with hands-on operational analytics work to surface insights that actually mean something.

I work across both quantitative and qualitative methods depending on what the research question calls for.

On the quantitative side: A/B Testing, Surveys, KPI Reporting, Engagement Tracking, and Dashboard Development in Tableau and Google Sheets.

On the qualitative side: Focus Groups, Usability Studies, Contextual Inquiry, User Personas, and Verbatim Analysis.

I discovered this passion through my years of undergraduate study in the Cognitive Science and Computer Science departments, where thorough research and clear presentation of findings were everything. Alongside my studies, I joined Capital One in 2023 where I quickly became a subject matter expert in operational analytics, building regional performance dashboards and training programs that supported 100+ associates across the West Region. I also incorporate AI tools into my analytical workflow — using them to explore datasets, generate insights, and build visualizations that complement my work in Tableau and Excel. In 2026, I received my Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

What are my immediate goals? To grow into a Data Analyst or Operations Analyst role where research and data work together while I pursue a Master's in Data Science.
